MRCP UK Part 2 Written — the applied-reasoning bridge to PACES
200 vignette-style best-of-5 MCQs · 2 papers × 3 hours · +1 / 0 marking · ~63% equated scaled pass. Every question is a clinical case — imaging, ECGs, labs, histories. Where Part 1 tested breadth, Part 2 Written tests depth of reasoning before PACES gates the final diploma.

Same format, completely different cognitive load
Vignette-heavy
Every stem is a clinical case — ECGs, chest/abdo X-rays, CT/MRI slices, blood films, derm photos, full lab panels rendered inline. Pattern recognition matters.
Applied reasoning
Part 1 rewarded fact recall. Part 2 Written rewards synthesis — combining the history, imaging and labs to pick the single best management step.
Same +1 / 0 marking
No negative marking — attempt every question. Our analytics flag any blank-leaving habit so you don't leave equated scaled marks on the table.
Same 6-hour endurance
Two 3-hour papers in one day at 108 seconds per question. Our mock player enforces the real diet's pacing so stamina is built, not discovered on the day.
What you get on LanguageTest.in
Two-paper format
Every mock is exactly 200 MCQs split into Paper 1 + Paper 2 of 100 each, 3 hours per paper — mirroring the real diet down to the section break.
Per-diet blueprint match
Cardio / Nephro / Endo / Neuro / Resp / Gastro / ID / Haem / Rheum / Geri / Derm / Therapeutics weighted to match the Federation's published per-diet blueprint.
Imaging + ECG bank
3,000+ inline images — ECGs, chest X-rays, CT/MRI slices, blood films, derm photos — all with zoom, all with structured reasoning in the explanation.
Per-subspecialty heatmap
After every mock, see your accuracy by system. The single weakest subspecialty drives your next 5 targeted re-reads — no guesswork.
PACES-aware explanations
Every explanation flags the management step a PACES examiner would expect to hear — so your Part 2 prep doubles as a head-start on the clinical carousel.
Eligibility-window tracker
We track the 7-year clock from your first Part 1 pass and warn you which diets are still in-window — so you never burn an attempt outside eligibility.
